A fine curly maple mirror with a molded frame having bold striping.  This type of mirror is typically attributed to John Elliott, Jr. working in the early 19th century in Philadelphia, PA.  H-34 1/2", W-22 1/2", D-2 1/4".  No damage or repairs to the front of the mirror but the backboard and mirror plate are replaced, and a small piece of maple veneer is missing from the top right side of the frame.  Purchased 20 years ago from Philip Bradley Antiques, Downingtown, PA.
