A delicate Sheraton mahogany sewing stand having four turret corners on the top, a divided drawer above a sewing bag in the case, and supported by round tapered legs ending in bulbous feet.  The stand is in fine condition with no repairs, and it has its original brass knobs and a fine patina to the nicely grained mahogany.  H-29", W-19 34", D-16 3/4".  Made in Salem, Massachusetts, probably by Nehemiah Adams, circa 1800-1810.
