A beautiful pair of Chippendale mahogany side chairs having serpentine crest rails over interlocking strap work splats, slip seats and straight legs joined by H-stretchers.  These chairs are in superb original condition with no breaks or repairs, and they have a fine old or original finish.  Massachusetts, circa 1770-1790.  Height-37 1/2"
