A Federal mahogany looking gass having a well-shaped outline to the crest, base and ears, and a gilded eagle in the crest.  There is a repair to the lower left ear; otherwise, this piece is in fine condition with an old or original surface.  The mirror plate is probably original too.  Small size at H-27", W-14".  Boston, Massachusetts, circa 1800-1815.
