A choice Hepplewhite mahogany card table
having serpentine sides and a bowed front with tall tapered legs. There
is line inlay on the top edges, around the skirt, on the leg plinths and
down the legs. The skirt also features an inlayed oval and cross
banding, and the legs have bellflower inlay. H-29 1/2", W-36 1/2". No
damage or repairs and a nice mellow finish. Probably New Hampshire or
North Shore, Massachusetts, circa 1800.
