A fine oak sewing box having mahogany, burl and satinwood veneer along with string inlay on all sides. There is a single drawer with an ivory pull. On top is a blue velvet pin cushion that appears to be original, and there is a turned clamp underneath. H-7 1/2", L-5 1/2". Probably English, 19th century. With a wonderful patina and in fine condition except for the small chip in the ivory pull. ID-5344 Price-SOLD |
